Dancing in Your Shoes

Despite the dramatic stormy weather on the evening of their event, Hannah, Mariko, Rosalie and Zainab put together an invigorating dance workshop where the lucky participants had the opportunity to try out a total of six different dance styles – including Scottish, West African, Irish, Turkish, Swing and Bhangra.

One World Challenge

Adeola, Emmy, Jeanne and Joy brought people from different nationalities together for an afternoon filled with a wide range of activities. Attendees enjoyed cultural games and puzzles, and barely any could resist having a go at the infectiously enjoyable Scottish dancing!

Football matches can be a great way to bring people together for some healthy competition, so Karim, Libaan and Ming decided to organised their own intercultural football tournament.

Colours Connect People @ Global Café

Aigerim, Laura R. and Oge took over the hugely popular weekly Global Café and asked attendees to place handprints upon their home country on a huge hand-made map.

Global Afternoon Tea

Dominica, Eunji, Grace, Michelle and Stella’s Tea Party offered over 70 guests the chance to meet new people and sample tea and cake from across the world, including Moroccan mint tea, British Early Grey and Chinese Pu-erh tea.
